PORTUGUESE INTENSIVE COURSE LEVEL I

In a relaxed and dynamic atmosphere you will learn the basic structures of the Portuguese language, and very soon you will find yourself right in everyday situations where you will be able to participate in them. Communicating and finding your way in Portugal becomes possible!

Target Audience

This course is designed for people who live in Portugal or visit Portugal frequently and want to get a basic knowledge of the Portuguese language in a relatively short period of time.

General Goals

By the end of the course, the participants will have acquired an elementary knowledge of the language and reached level A1.1 (CEFR). This course focus mainly on everyday practical language use.

Specific Goals

At the end of the course participants will be able to:
  • Introduce themselves and welcome others appropriately;
  • Create sentences, using the simple present;
  • Have a simple conversation about habits and routines;
  • Describe preferences and daily situations;

Development

The class is taught by a specialized and qualified instructor. The instructors are Portuguese and teach their mother tongue, but speak and understand English.

In the end of the course, the student will be awarded with a CLCC Diploma with proof of attendance.

Pedagogical Resources

During the classes the emphasis is on practicing the language, using a manual containing various reading, writing, grammar and oral exercises. The use of the manual is complemented by role-play, games and audiovisual material.


Certified

Upon completion of the successful training, a Professional Training Certificate will be issued, pursuant to Administrative Rule No. 474/2010 of 8 July.
